Everyone and everything annoying me tonight. The children, dp, the tv, the endless washing tidying and cleaning.

Seems never ending and same old stuff every day. I'm boring myself with my moaning.

I was just thinking the same for different reasons! DD been ill on & off for two weeks now. Her dad is coming to take her and will have her until Sunday. I feel shattered. Plus time of the month and lots going on at work. As soon as DD and exH have left I plan on closing the door, getting into my PJs, switching on electric blanket and having a looooong sleep at 7pm!!

Get yourself a glass of wine/mug of hot chocolate, a good book and get yourself comfy in bed! You've got my permission.

I feel like doing the same, different reasons though got chest infection, tonsilitus and it's also that time of the month.. Sad As soon as DS is home, I'm putting the kids to bed with a dvd and getting in bed myself.

Ah thanks Poo!!!

I think I'm coming down with something too. The dc are 16 11 7 & 4 the 4 yr old already bathed and in bed so I'm sure the 16yr can read with the 7 yr old and put her to bed.

Im making a hot drink and going to lie in bed with my kindle in the dark.

I am heading to bed in about 20 minutes.

Nothing as blissful as an early night.

Life's little, free pleasures are a wonderful thing, early nights are bliss. So are nice baths. YY to mug of hot chocolate and a book.

Worth changing the sheets if you can be arsed as then you will feel as if you are in a hotel.

I would love to go to bed, have had an absolutely shocking day and spent 2.5 hours with DS in A+E this afternoon. So depressing. But, am on tooth fairy duty so have to wait until the DCs are asleep.

I changed the sheets today too!

So early night on clean sheets.

Or Masterchef Professional...

I'm really torn.

Hope you all feel better soon

Guitar girl, can't you get up before they do? Anyway, you don't have to go to sleep. Clean sheets, book, relaxing bath... It all takes time, they may have gone to sleep by then.

Beast - I haven't had a bath since about 1996! Honestly, I don't know why, just don't like them. Am going to wrap up in a duvet on the sofa and watch Masterchef. I reckon they will be asleep by the end of that and then the tooth fairy can drop in for a flying visit before going to bed herself. They are very easily woken in the morning so I don't trust myself going in then.

I have just had a jo Malone bath and gone to bed. Walked past where the others were watching master chef to hear the immortal line , "for me, there are too many beans for the amount of rabbit"

First world trauma there :)
