It's just not on this week for some reason - same for the US I believe, and shall return next week. I am also an unhappy bunny, but have consoled myself with wine.

We have it set to series-record (how did we manage without this amazing technology?) and we've only watched two episodes so far, but jeepers we're loving it.

Just to see Phil alive is wonderful. Every time he's on screen (so about 95% of the time?) DD (11) squeals 'Phiiiiiiil!'

I was surprised to see its airing at the same time as the US - they show on a Tuesday and we get it on the Fri.

I wondereed if there was something happening over there that meant it wasn't aired this week?

moved due to Thanksgiving in the us maybe? wild punt in the dark as I know it is a, soon and b, they have loads of 'football' games on then don't they, and it might have moved an episode so as to make a spot?

No thanksgiving (thats not til later in the month) or football. Infact I think they just re-aired the pilot ep.

It's quite common in the us for shows not to air a new episode every single week, its usually to give filming and production of episodes a chance to get a bit further ahead (and it makes the full seasons of shows stretch longer- usually 22/23 eps last from sept-may)

Gravity is apparently a bit pooh. An astronaut went to see it and heckled so much he got removed from the cinema.

I can thoroughly recommend Enders Game though. Absolutely brilliant.

I haven't read Ender's Game. The film stands on its own though. It was excellent, if a little violent.
