It wasn't just in the Mail. Didn't another thread earlier quote the Telegraph?

Aw, crap, clicked on a Fail link!

But seriously, do they think that Mum's just talk about nappies and weaning? That after we give birth we're just 'Mother' and only think babies and baby/child-related things.

Fuck off Daily Fail!

I personally find mumsnet to be full of coarse women who talk about men and sex in a really unsavoury way. The half baked advise, obscene language and man-hating is unbelievable and woe betide anybody who disagrees with the general consensus. Small minded bullies with nothing better to do with their time. Then they all wonder why their husbands work late all the time.

That's me that's coarse and unsavory
Like a Gregg's sausage roll

Lifted straight from the torygraph. People have even namechanged in Joanna Baxter's honour. How dare we discuss all aspects of our lives as women.

And I'm disgusted that we only start a raunchy thread per day. I was expecting much more than that.

Well I must say I think this is quite disgusting, and I personally am extremely concerned. I've been on MN for years and I never find these explicit threads! It's not fair; I want to be titillated and appalled by you dirty heifers, and what do I get? Zilch. Nada. Nyet.

All these women grumbling that they just want to read pure and wholesome chats about mothering and keep falling over filth - why don't I ever see them?! I feel robbed. Sad

Am actually pmsl that it's deemed coarse and unnecessary for 'mums' to discuss sex.

How the fuck do they think we become mums Hmm

It is a shame that the DM and DT are so late to the penis beaker party.

Do you think they are surprised to find out that women talk about sex? Always have done, always will. After all, sex is how they became mums in the first place.

mn promised to remove obscene posts?

They'd better not. Grin

You know, the thing is that most of the really mucky creepy sex threads are started by creepy little fuckers who only join up because the mail and other crappy papers run articles like this.

I predict several new members who need advice on whether it's acceptable to make macaroni cheese after you've boinged a big hole in the cheddar, and 1001 dirty uses for a feather duster and half a pineapple.

Isn't being criticised by the Fail pretty much proof positive that you're 100% right and more infallible than the Pope?
