oh dear, its going to end in tears

She was an alcoholic for 10 years & was/is involved with the charity Action on Addiction. I think she's been very vulnerable since her divorce & losing the tv show.

I had some book vounchers and out of sympathy I got a Nigella book, instead of Ottolenghi, Team Nigella and all that

Nigellas tone is SO annoying, big mistake

anyway, Trinny better watch out
is she an alcoholic? I refer to poster earlier, I never knew that, if yes HUUUUGE mistake for an addict to get with an abuser

Yeh.... dating saatchi could be a drunken deicision. Hope she doesnt get sucked in.

You cant dip a toe in the water with these power crazed mind fuckwits

GatoradeMeBitch Mon 21-Oct-13 15:19:56

I was concerned about Trinny when I saw the photo of her sprawled in the taxi with her gusset showing. I hope she hasn't fallen off the wagon.

Dont think theses guys change marriage to marriage no.
My x no satcchi, but he was baffled when i left him. he said five years latwr to my mother that he'd done nothing wrong. So, he'd felt entitled to take out his bad humour on me, blame me for everything, verbally abuse me and financially abuse me then...?
I saw my x in saatch when he divorcedHER on the grounds that she didnt defend him.
With that kind of mindset there's no reflection, no self-discovery, no remorse, no learning......
I had psychotherapy after i left my x. I know why i got on to it why i stayed.... i see things so differently now and ive learned a lot about people and relationships and human nature!
It is almost astonishing how little my x has learnt in contrast. He firmly believes i left him because i was lazy.
Saatcchi will have the same beliefs. Nigella wound him up. She pushed his buttons. She never knew when to let it go. Nobody else made him so cross etc etc, then the papers twisted things by just showing him strangling nigella but not detailing what she had done to drive him to it!!!
Guarantee he will have learnt NOTHING

ditavonteesed Mon 21-Oct-13 09:22:15

seems odd that they sat at the same table that the pics were of nigella, do you think he is still trying to control nigella with this, the whole thing looks like a car wreck waiting to happen, I hope trinny wakes up before she is sucked in. Nigella I wish you all the luck in the world.

Opalite Mon 21-Oct-13 08:19:11

Oh god... maybe Saatchi should know better instead? It would be fantastic if all womens self esteem and self worth was high enough that the man treating his ex-partner badly would be enough to keep them away. Unfortunately this isn't the case at all and FFS yes of course, this successful woman must be with him for his money... really?!

BasilBabyEater Mon 21-Oct-13 08:06:43

Pervcat grin

deepfriedsage Mon 21-Oct-13 07:43:12

Yes, the level of emotional abuse may be more or less, it will still exist. Financial will be different, it will depend on different circumstance, it will still be there just to a different level. As for physical depends on size and willingness to defend.

LeGavrOrf Mon 21-Oct-13 07:42:09

I bet saatchi doesn't change. They are still going to the same restaurant and the same table where 3 months ago he was sitting there with Nigella. That is a blt odd,,isn't it?

PervCat Mon 21-Oct-13 07:36:50

Not wrt domestic violence but do you think people do change marriage to marriage?

deepfriedsage Mon 21-Oct-13 07:35:55

I know someone old enough and wise enough who went in with eyes wide open. They blame the ex, and believe the ex was a bitch theory.

Ooh. Dish does she still say no black with colour

rootypig Mon 21-Oct-13 04:18:47

She is a friend of a friend (who I barely know) on FB and her profile is quite public. Not to put too fine a point on it, she seems like a bit of a dick. To be more specific, an intentionally silly, appallingly right wing, borderline narcissistic dick.

This is making it sound like I care and I don't, she is entitled to be all of those things. But I find the Saatchi liaison entirely unsurprising. She exists in a mind bendingly posh world very far removed from reality.

MistressDeeCee Mon 21-Oct-13 04:17:25

Agree with BasilBabyEater

& there are just too many women who believe the 'my ex is a bitch' story. They believe it because they want to, we're not talking 1st flush of youthful love here. They know the score.

I can't wish them well as I find it disappointing that a woman would degrade herself by knowingly jumping into the arms of an emotional & physical abuser. Just because she's famous, doesn't mean its any less deplorable.

Nothing to admire, hope she's not going to swan around like she's gained some (dubious) status.

PervCat Mon 21-Oct-13 03:39:06

Lol at gender power differentials. You old ponce

VenusDeWillendorf Mon 21-Oct-13 00:14:36

Or saatchi, or whatevs.

VenusDeWillendorf Mon 21-Oct-13 00:12:57

Well Trinny can be forgiven for Keanu, no?

But satchii seems to be a different kind of creature.

Well done nigella! (If you're reading this ever...)

C'mon Trinny, wake up and smell the coffee.

QueenArseClangers Mon 21-Oct-13 00:06:34

Didn't Trinny nob (or try to) Keanu Reeves?

Lighthousekeeping Sun 20-Oct-13 23:59:14

I hate how everyone assumes that women are after men for their money. No-one ever says it about Kate Moss's husband or even daddy is loaded peaches geldof's husband or, any A lister female celeb that's married to an ordinary bloke.
