My dsis moved away and left her family to make a new one over seas, she is fighting for custody of 1 of her 3 dcs in UK. She has lied to and betrayed her family and hadn't spoken to any of us apart from her dcs in months. I have just received a soppy bday card and present from her. My dm only got a card and dsis didn't even tell us her baby had been born or ask about dbro when he was ill. It's court next month, aibu to think she is up to something?

how can you only want custody of one of 3?!

do they all have the same father?

why would you take one child away to an unkniwn country and away from everyone they know and love?

ps: I had a big row with stbsil and was proved right recently. the next day she is texting all best mate like and asking dh what I would like for Christmas. it was so cringeworthy and obvious I just rolled my eyes

I would say she wants something

She wants 1 of 3 kids?
That's just odd and extremely mean and harsh on the other 2 kids.
Can you imagine being the other 2 kids!?
Would a court really split up 3 siblings?
Do they all live with each other/ have the same father?

And yes, I would assume she is up to something.
Don't let her sucker you in.
She sounds horrible to be honest.

The other 2 want to stay with their dad, 3 was adopted by them but didn't see much of dad for the last couple of years so when sis went our mum had dc until she was comfortable moving in with her dad.
I would love to think she was trying to make amends but doesn't know how but I obviously don't trust her as she has hurt us all so much (selling family heirlooms being nasty to sn bro). She has never took blame or said sorry but I'm desperate for her to change back to her old self ( this started about a yr ago after breakdown of marriage no2)
