[snort] at one of the "magical sounds" being "rain on a tin roof"!

Oh, for goodness sake. If you want something like that, there are free phone and computer apps.

Mind you you could save up for this absolute necessity

It looks like a scouring pad shock

QuintessentialShadows Fri 13-Sep-13 22:44:15

That is a great thing if you want to train your baby/toddler/child to not be able to relax or settle if there is any noise around.

Like my friends little niece. She could not nap at all if there was ANY noise in the house, at all. The entire family had to sit and read in silence during her midday 2 hour nap. And the same after she had gone to bed in the evening. That is what a white noise device did to her.

I saw it and thought - oh £4 of silliness, then blinked.. £40!!!!!! Seriously !!

mrspremise Sat 14-Sep-13 04:46:43

confused shock hmm What the actual fuck is the point of that? How much of a twat would you look using that! blush

PuddingAndHotMilk Sat 14-Sep-13 05:18:57

I'd suggest this is a better option.

meganorks Sat 14-Sep-13 05:22:09

I imagine someone who is desperate to try anything to settle their baby for whom money isn't a major issue. You'd have to ne very desperate though. And how would you even find such a thing existed?!

Catsize Sat 14-Sep-13 05:32:35

I would probably have bought one. As someone said, desperation. My baby fed, slept (occasionally) and cried. Few nice inbetween bits. Liked the review though from the lady who bought one for her husband!

CustardOmlet Sat 14-Sep-13 05:55:29

Pudding Ewan has been my savour! DS doesn't need it anymore, but it has become his bear to cuddle at night. I love it!

I was all set to be scathing... Then my inner gadget gollum said "oooh but it's new and spangly and a baby whisperer, buy it my precious" grin. I don't even have a tiny baby wink. I'm such a sucker for techno crap! grin

mamaabc Sat 14-Sep-13 06:50:19
