YANBU. Mine is most definitely on.

DH is not coping well with this development because (and this really is his reasoning): "It was scorching hot yesterday - it's still summer! Why do you need the heating on today?" Hmm

Mine would be on if it wasn't broken Hmm

Ooh was just searching for a thread about this. ( I don't like starting threads for some reason)

It's a bit chilly and was wondering if anyone else has put their heating on. I put it on in the car this afternoon for the first time in months.
Think I might just put some socks on and watch TV in bed after ds has gone to bed.

wusses all of you!! it's September ffs! If you get too comfy now, by March the gas bill will be enough to make the blood freeze in your veins! Put more clothes on!

Mind you I'm fat. It's no fun if you're thin and it's cold.

Before I am forced to put the heating on I put on extra layers and dressing gown plus fur throws and fluffy slippers. Cat 1 drapes around my neck, cat 2 on lap. Heating won't be on until end of October. I live in Scotland.

So...you're telling me to take the tartan rug off and ditch the hot water bottle for a life free of heating care?

YANBU, as long as you can afford it.

I've felt cold today, needed a coat to keep me warm even when cycling to work. But I'm holding out a little bit longer on the heating as the bills have gone up by nearly 25% this year already despite our usage being the same Hmm

I'm in Fife and I'm really cold but *I absolutely refuse to put the heating on until September is over.

I'm well 'ard.

*may change mind without further notice

I'm in Kent, it's alright here. We won't be putting the heating on until are feet are cold through two layers of socks and slippers.
