The letter "H" is pronounced, "Aitch".

Bizarrely, it is most often used by people who drop it in general speech. I wonder why this is?

I know people can struggle with grammar but surely they don't write somethink or everythink, so why say it?

What annoys me is "awright?" when you pay for something at the till in a shop. No, it is not "awright" it is "good morning"/"sorry to keep you waiting"/ "good morning"/"good afternoon". Should this thread be in Pedants Corner?
