Just been out with the dog on the local park. A car full of young men pulled up on the street next to the park, they all got out, walked to the far end of the park and stood in a tight little huddle under some trees. I was a fair distance away from them, throwing the ball in the middle of the field, so couldn't see what they were doing, but they were there for a good 20 minutes, cheering and laughing, then they walked back to the car and drove off at breakneck speed.

I'm guessing drug taking of some description? I live in a lovely little village, with very low crime rates but very high incidences of drug taking (usually just weed but know a couple of local lads who use coke - I work in the village shop so get all the gossip!). I wasn't sure whether I should've called the police and reported them?

They could have been drug dealing/taking but equally they could have just been a football team discussing team tactics or settling a bet or god knows what...I wouldn't assume the worst from what you've said

Maybe worth a mention to your community police officer so they can keep a look out. There's nothing wrong with feeling suspicious. Sometimes, little things you think are irrelevant turn out to be the missing part to a bigger picture.

Pissing under the tree.. Treasure hunt.. Looking at the engravings.. Too many things really... Don't think it would be drugs. Easier and less suspicious to stay in the car.
