AnyFucker Sun 28-Jul-13 23:33:24

welcome to the real world grin

Oh don't sweat it. I've been deleted. Not for sweaing afaicr but definately for a 'personal attack' - telling a git they're being a git usually. Never had a telling off e-mail from HQ though so I giess they're not too cross.

SirBoobAlot Sun 28-Jul-13 23:33:42

Being deleted is part of the initiation to mumsnet wink

You don't get a "mumsnet calling" email for a simple deletion, kim

You have be waaaaaay more bad than that

Tweasels Sun 28-Jul-13 23:34:52

I got deleted 7 times on one thread once. Some people just drive you to it. I'm amazed you've kept your cool for this long!

MargeSimpsonzz Sun 28-Jul-13 23:39:01

I've never been deleted!

I'm permanently banned from one site though. they are a bunch of sad misogynist little wankers though, moderating from the box room in their mums' houses.

BridgetBidet Sun 28-Jul-13 23:39:51

I would not worry Kim. You opened my eyes to the maths around poverty, I sat down and worked it out on a spreadsheet and realized you were right! You do much more good than harm.

I have been deleted once but I can't for the life of me remember why. I think it was fairly innocuous tbh. grin

SupermansBigRedPants Sun 28-Jul-13 23:41:35

I reported an op once and fobbed myself in at the same time grin the op was a dickhead and I went apeshit at her then when I reported her I put a little ' btw you may notice a massive personal attack I'm sorry but she wound me up ' at the end.

I got an email saying it was nice of me to have apologised and that I wasn't banned - panicky pete me!

I'm sure you were pushed to it kim you don't seem the ranting personal attack type wink

I was deleted for saying a celebrity was a dirty shagger. It was on a thread which was naming lots of slebs as dirty shaggers so was a bit miffed. Was worried that I was going to be cast adrift but still here.

Did the person you swore at deserve it?

NotAroundTheEyes Sun 28-Jul-13 23:48:17

I'm ALWAYS being deleted grin

don't sweat it

The 'personal attacks' thing can get a bit wearing. MNHQ are a bit weird about what they choose to delete and what they don't.

I once said someone 'sounded like they had a screw loose' because they were threatening to make phone calls to identify an MNer IRL and post details of her DD's education on MN shock

I got deleted for abuse, but the creepy post about outing an MNer over their actual child was left to stand confused

Not at all bitter

racingheart Sun 28-Jul-13 23:56:29

I'm lost. I thought mumsnet tolerated swearing, as long as it was grammatically accurate. wink

I like reading your posts Kim. You always sound calm and reasonable.

And nice obviously!

themaltesefalcon Sun 28-Jul-13 23:59:23

Even if they actively solicit it?

Even if their username is TheLovelyMrGove?

Kim you always come across as being very reasonable.

If you told someone to fuck off they probably did deserve it smile.
