I have just done this.

Got back from few days away yesterday lunch. Did 4 x wash loads. Bugger if I am doing that all again!

Sirzy Thu 25-Jul-13 18:32:09

RobotBananas Thu 25-Jul-13 18:32:55

Yonididnaedaethat Thu 25-Jul-13 18:33:10

Bumply Thu 25-Jul-13 18:33:15

As long as it's dry now what's the issue?

UC Thu 25-Jul-13 18:34:07

No, it's ok if it smells all right. I've done it too.

Whothefuckfarted Thu 25-Jul-13 18:34:35

If it's dry and smells fine, don't see why not?

Piffpaffpoff Thu 25-Jul-13 18:34:39

I would

Aspiemum2 Thu 25-Jul-13 18:35:36

I do it all the time - if it rains I leave it out until it's dry!
Energy prices too high for the dryer and I'm not having it hung all around the house
I've not died from it yet smile

Thanks, done. wine now rather than washing grin

ProudNeathGirl Thu 25-Jul-13 18:40:56

It's only water. Why wouldn't you?

LookMaw Thu 25-Jul-13 18:46:12

If it isn't smelly or mouldy I really wouldn't understand why you would waste time, energy & money doing it again.

I've done it loads. Bit of a slatten I guess.

How come you got 2 lots of rain?? We've had one decent thunderstorm then nothing..
But yes, put the washing away! Or leave it lying around on the spare bed like I do... wink

liquidstate Thu 25-Jul-13 18:53:31

I have just folded mine away after leaving it out in the rain last night. Apart from a humungous spider in DH pants it was all clean smelling and dry.

I agree with all of you asking why not, but just thought I'd check others points of view as have been known to receive a hmm with regard to washing/food approach....if it doesn't smell then wear/eat it, as appropriate. Cheers wine

Thunderstorm Monday night, left it to dry Tuesday, forgot to get it in, rainstorm last night. Woops

Madratlady Thu 25-Jul-13 19:04:11

It's just like an extra rinse with nice fresh water, I find mine always smells lovely after rain or just being dried outside.

Ulysses Thu 25-Jul-13 19:05:43

I do this. Savings on the ironing too!
