I agree...but does that mean you need to be maimed for starting this thread? Grin

Best you maim herself then I guess. What with starting a thread basically about the Royals.

SoupDragon · 25/07/2013 16:20

Yourself.
Not herself.

Unless you're talking about the cigarette brand? Wink

I've lost count of the number I've hidden (was just about to hide yours, as just spotted offending word, royals).

This thread is not technically about 'them' though is it, it's about royalists and their inability to shut the fuck up.

Who made you the MN police with what may and may not be discussed?

Join the Republican thread!!

It's a calm oasis in a world of batshit crazy Grin

Most of the threads I've seen have been from the anti camp who funnily enough cannot seem to shut up - seems they have plumbed every depth looking for an opportunity to whine about something! This thread Q E D.

And benefits threads, they are being done to death at the moment!

Report
Twirlyhot · 25/07/2013 16:24

Nope, sorry, lots of the threads are started by republicans who won't shut up.

I would like a blanket ban. Or a section for them. Or maybe they should be split to avoid bunfights?

Royalists >
< Republicans

And YY to Holly. OP if you don't like a thread there is a very useful function that allows you to hide it. Try it sometime - although that would make it very difficult for you to bitch about subjects posted because they'd be hidden and not troubling you.

Don't be snidey OP - no need for it. Your original complaint has been answered. An opposite view has been given. What about that makes it ok for you to sneer and hiss about twisted knickers?

Justforlaughs · 25/07/2013 16:48

You can do what you like to the next person who starts a thread about the Royals, OP, providing that I can do the same to the next person who starts one about dogs!
Oh yes, that's right, that's why we put titles on our threads so we can vet the ones we are interested in, and ignore those that we aren't Confused. Admittedly, there are some people who are deliberately ambiguous in their thread titles to suck you in, but you can normally find your way back out again with a bit of willpower Grin

Well people seem to be taking this thread a whole lot more seriously than intended!

Backing slowly away...

You could, I dunno, not fucking read threads about the royals and save your knicker bunching for something else.

OK OP, I'll admit that royalty threads are a bit overbearing right now Wink, whether in favour of or against. But then it makes a change from lots of other topics that have been done to death, threads about threads about threads and so on.
