To sell my Stone Roses tickets for this weekend and go out with DH for dinner instead?

DH and I have tickets for The Stone Roses this weekend. It looks like it's going to rain. I'd love to see them again (previous saw in 1995 twice) but I'd also love the money and a night out just me and DH. We have a babysitter arranged to look after our three kids but I honestly cannot remember the last time we went out for dinner just the two of us.

Would IBU if we put the tickets on eBay then went out for a lovely dinner and some peace instead? Or is that just plain boring!

I still don't know what to do! I think I'm leaning towards going though... Folk at work have been talking about it so its got me all excited now smile

Ian Brown can't sing but I'd go just to hear John Squires play anyway. And I love The Second Coming although it took a lot of listening to get it.

Can't beat Elephant Stone, I'm Standing Here or I Am The Resurrection though. Jealous.

Live, Reni is the star of the show smile Even at 50 he's one of the best drummers around.

You're going to Glasgow Green right OP, not Isle of Wight? There is a spoof rumour on the net that GG has been cancelled so don't panic if you read it somewhere. Still definitely going ahead. If you do go, I hope you have a great time smile

We saw them last Friday at Finsbury Park. We enjoyed it, despite copious amounts of piss being chucked around. The first half was a bit slow though, second half picked up lots.

Did you go? I did and it was truly awesome! I jumped and danced and sang and cried!
