To find James O'Brien LBC presenter a condescending twat

Am I the only one that finds LBC radio presenter James O'Brien infuriating. Whilst he has the face for radio he does not have the voice; but worse, I hate the way he patronises callers that are obviously less educated and less articulate than he is. He sounds like a patronising bully and it makes for uncomfortable listening. Unlike Nick Ferarri he has zero charisma.

I also hate the fact that he used to slag off faith schools but now he's a father, both his DDs attend our local state catholic school.

I still prefer him to the odious Nick Ferrari,who is not very intelligent and does cut off any caller who disagrees with him.

So what movingout loads of other parents are hypocrites when it comes to faith schools. Every parent wants the best for their child even if it means sacrificing your principles.

I don't think he's patronising at all, Nick Ferarri more so although he's equally entertaining. James is very funny and speaks very well.

I too have to turn James off. He loves the sound of his own voice too much, the other callers barely get a word in.

I do listen to him because he can be very entertaining, like yesterday when he took all the EDL twits to pieces. He can be right up himself and when he gets going about marriage he makes my blood boil. I do have to switch him off sometimes because I'm worried I'll do myself an injury, but that's the case for all LBC presenters apart from Iain Dale and Nick Abbot.


I listen to Nick Ferrari as well although he makes me want to scream and hurl at the same time. He can be entertaining with all his stupid bluster and BS and there is absolutely nothing else I can stand to listen to on the radio in the mornings. I'm usually laughing at him rather than with him though, honest guv

I love Petrie Hosken on the weekends, and find Iain Dale very soothing on the way home from work. So glad he's taken over from James Whale, he was the King of Condescending Twats!

I think he is brilliant, he's incredibly bright, very quick and often very funny. I don't always agree with him but I do think that he's far and away the best presenter on LBC by a mile.

I really enjoy Nick Ferrari, he comes over as so much more intelligent that James, but my absolute favourite is Steve Allen, such a shame that he's on so early. I agree James Max is a twat and thank goodness James Whale has been dumped.

I know this is unreasonable, but I actually find Nick Ferarri strangely attractive. His voice doesn't match his face and I remember being a little surprised when I first saw him. Nonetheless and despite myself, I think he's quite hot!

Julia HB and Petri Hoskens or whatever her name is are both awful can't stand either of them. They're both judgey, patronizing and condescending and up themselves grrrr.

I always get mixed up with the male broadcasters, which ones which but there are certainly a few I can't bear, one is definitely James Whale ugh.

Oh and a lot of their ads are annoying too.

I love the way Nick Ferrari lets us know he is about to give the next guest a hard time by use of 'Ms' or 'Mr'. James will never admit defeat when talking religion!
