Mind you, it'll probably be the army running it in a few months' time when G4S fail to meet the contract. :-(

It does however say they are the established providers of similar services in other regions. So the principle of their doing it must have been agreed some years ago.

Does anyone know if the sensitive services they already provide are of a good standard?

I've just checked their web page: they've been involved with SARCs since 2005.
