It's May and I need to put the heating on.

I can't remember ever having to put on the heating at this time of year. Tell me summer will arrive soon

I was about to comment that we sometimes need it on for 10 minutes each morning and evening, except on the very hottest summer days, but we're on the northeast coast and it's bloody damp, up here.

We don't normally need it in the day, but single figure nights at this time of year is ridiculous. It's going to be at a high of 12 here tomorrow day. Grim.

It wouldn't be so bad if the price of gas/electricity wasn't so fucking high

I've put mine on for a quick burst the last couple of days - we've got an hour boost button and we've just needed to warm the house up a little bit.

In the SW and I've had to turn the heating on every evening this month so far. I'm at home this afternoon and tbh I keep glancing over at the thermostat. I'm cold!

We keep curling up in front of the gas fire in the sitting room. It's going to be 9 degrees tomorrow. Nine! On the 23rd May! The week before the Summer half term!
