AIBU?

To wonder - in the light of a previous thread on here - whether Graham Norton has had spunk in his left eye?

His left eye specifically?

DH just asked me this same question. Suspiciously he is currently on the laptop, typing away and cackling

I would hate that.
DH shows far too much interest.

Damn Graham Norton and his spunky eye for bringing all this to the fore!

Well you can learn a lot on MN. But spunk in the eye is maybe a weird one.

There was a thread a week or so ago where someone asked who liked their OH to spunk on their faces as she and her OH were having an argument about it. It got heated but in the discussion on the thread, it came out that getting spunk in your eye was really painful and made it go very red.

Sometimes MN gets into RL too much.
IABU for that, I think.

Lets I googled to find out that information. That thread ruined my google search history

Oh dear. Sad
I have learned not to Google anything from Mumsnet after Googling Dragon butter and sootikins.

DO NOT - I REPEAT NOT - GOOGLE THOSE

His eye did look like it was bothering him.

Yes very red.
I'm always amazed how he makes a good show out of a mainly uninspiring guest list but tonight's show was a bit horrid - and that poor eye...

Yes, he's a gay man. It must have been spunk in the eye.

Hmm

LetsFaceTheMusicAndDance · 17/05/2013 23:42

Absolutely not Mary. It's a hazard for anyone with a male partner regardless of gender
Hmm right back at you

Oh eeeewwww! Why did I have to Google that?!

Now, of course I know not to Google dragon butter, but that other one is gross.

And has buggered my google history too..,

Oh get over yourself woman!

I would have written exactly the same if he had been female. My point being AIBU to suspect the cause of red eye to be spunk in the eye after reading it on mn.

Um, last time I checked, I wasn't a gay man, and yes, spunk in the eye does hurt like a bastard, and leave you with red eyes.

(Remembers drunkenly splashing water from a vase on my eye after a rather enthusiastic night once...)

Mary, not Couthy. One of my big bug bears in life is those who love getting offended on other peoples' behalf, regardless of whether the others are actually offended or not!

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 17/05/2013 23:46

Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

I have a male partner. Never nearly had spunk in the eye.

Report
SPsCliffingAllOverMN · 17/05/2013 23:47

I've never had spunk eye. Had spunk hair and that was horrible to get out.

I haven't been near a spunk machine in a while so I have no spunk eye worries

Ouch @Couthy

I was really surprised by some of the stories as I thought - being salty rather than acid - it wouldn't be so stinging.

Clearly I wasn't there for the original joke.

I love the way one comment labels me as someone who loves being offended.

Lets Apparently it burns. This is what google told me anyway.

Do we have a volunteer to find out if this is in fact true? Anyone?
