Hi all. Just would like some ideas on fancy dress Alice in Wonderland for a birthday party my son as to go to in June. I've looked up ebay, google it and only come up with the rabbit, mad hatter and perhaps a card idea... any other suggestions would be really appreciated.

I made two chest size cards out of cardboard and painted a heart on one etc. then used string to tie one to back and one to front like one of those sandwich advertising boards Grin

Teapot?
Top hat? (cardboard tube with base stuck to it)
Cut out bottle with "drink me" on it - similar to the playing cards above.

my friend had an Alice in Wonderland theme party for her 30th. I went as Alice and there were loads of mad hatters etc. far and away the best costumes were DP who wore dark blue jeans and a blue t-shirt that he wrote "drink me" on, and my friend who wore green leggings and a green top, a pair of those googly eyes headband and bought a cheap green washing up bag (which had a wire in it to hold the shape). she cut the bottom out of the washing basket and wore it around her middle for the caterpillar effect. they were brilliant!

Mad Hatter (big hat and toy tea set), the rabbit (pair of bunny ears and tail) or caterpillar are the bones that spring to mind.
