To all of you whose children are beginning SAts today. Whether you agree with them or not, it's a tough week and fingers crossed they can just keep calm and do their best.

I'm crapping myself about the reading this morning - anyone remember the Earth Ship paper for the reading comp a few years ago!?

Well yes of course but it's early days and they will be fine providing you keep your concerns in erspective. Mine are 18 and 15 and tbf we told them sAts were nothing to worry about and so did their school which btw was a school that scored close to 100 across the board.

I think you need to calm down a bit: we've got IB finals here and and are staying chilled which for yours and your DCks sanity you need to do.

Oh don't worry - I'm not projecting my worries on the kids. We're on track for very good results so I'm not panicking for them...I'm more panicking about me making some administration cock up!

What admin cock up - or are you posting as their teacher rather than their parent? As a parent all you have to do is get them there on time and confident.
