What's not to like. OK the taste may be a bit tooth rotting for some, but... er did I mention it was cheap.

I love it. But only drink it when alone or with my mum from whom I inherited such bad taste

Ahh I have some amazing lambrini memories!! I used to buy a big bottle to pre drink before I went clubbing, like 3 times a week!!!

And then my student days were over "boo hoo"

Last time I drank it, it gave me the worst hangover!!

Yay, that I'm not alone on this one. Am imbibing the "pear" infused nectar as we type. It's on special at Iceland at the moment, £2.50 for the mega bottle.

Sure cherry lambrini isn't better?? Grin

God no, its like piss. Even when I was younger I didn't touch it. I was a MD 20/20 girl myself

If you are buying it because it's cheap and gives you a kick, and you need to drink, that's makes you an alcoholic.

I saw lambrini cider the other day.....

Lol holly, I don't think implied those were the reasons they drink it!

Holly Grin Are you serious?! Confused She said she buys it because its cheap. Not because she relies on it.

Talk about jumping the gun!

I buy malibus cheap Iceland version because its cheap. Therefore I must be in need of it.

I have t say in 51 years of life and about 36 years of drinking I have never had Lambrini. Is it like Babycham?

Remember that awful Thunderbirds stuff? Ewwwww

It doesn't make you cheerful at all, it not only tastes like piss but is piss weak.

It is truly vile, I once ordered a white wine in a nightclub abd they handed me that vile stuff. I threatened them with the trade descriptions act - it is not wine, it's perry and a rather nasty version at that.

(sorry, I apparently feel far too strongly about lambrini - note to self, meet a grip and a life)

Report
bulletwithbutterflywings · 10/05/2013 22:22

I think it is, its 'perry' anyway. I can't remember what it tastes like though!

YABU it's low in alcohol - spend £3.99 on a nice merlot from Lidl (drinking it now) 12% - gets you nicely warm and fuzzy for a lot less

I love it, bit I can drink it by the gallon!

HollyBerryBush · 10/05/2013 22:26

slap me down< I drink something I like, if I were reduced to surfing the daily deals and cheap shit, I'd know I had a problem

JackieTheFart · 10/05/2013 22:27

I've never had it.

I would only judge if you were drinking White Lightening out of the 2l bottle at 9am tbh.

But holly, the OP is drinking it because she likes it. The cheapness is just a happy coincidence.

I've never had lambrini in my life. Not sure how that happened.

Report
Lj8893 · 10/05/2013 22:32

But the OP said she likes it Holly, and not just because its cheap!

As did everyone else who has said they drink it, apart from me but I was a skint student so the cheapness was possibly a big factor in why I drank it! Haha!

Not an alcoholic as far as I know, but thanks for the warning. Made in Liverpool from melted down pear drops I believe....
