We are into the new tax year and I am Hmm at the amount of people who are 'oh, my tc went down, why?' 'tc have completely stopped! how can this be' etc etc on here and in rl

AIBU to expect people to actually read their whole award letter and not just the bit that tells them their weekly amount for now each time that they receive one, and be aware that it tells you what payments are going to be when they change and that they pretty much always change into the new tax year.

Myself for example, I renewed and got all the paperwork through start of August last year. I knew that we would only be receiving WTC until the last week of 12/13 year, so it came as no surprise whatsoever when we didn't get the WTC in the new year.

Or AIBU Brew

I can't find the smegging letter to check what it says. I can find it for the previous four years but not the one I actually need. So YABU for not taking into account the fact that some people are shite at looking after paperwork Grin

And the dates of job changes, wage increase/decreases, hours worked, child care changes, dates phone calls made, and all TC forms photocopied and sent back by recorded signed for. Grin I've learnt the hard way.
