This morning, when Dh was about to go to work, I was still in bed. He was at the door, said that the milk was there. I said it will take you 2 seconds for him to put in the fridge.

Next thing I know, he came in the bedroom and threw the pint of milk on my pelvis. It hurt and made me cry a little.

I could see on dh's face that he thought that I had completely overreacted. He said sorry, saying he didn't mean to hurt me but I could see he was unrepentant. Arsehole.

So ????

He threw a pint of milk on you whilst you were in bed? Shock.

He is a massive twat, what else has he done to you Summer?

Did he drop it or throw it?

Arsehole! Him not you. IS this normal behaviour for him?

That would be assault then.
Has this happened before?

Either way, not a relationship I'd be happy to remain in.

He tells you that the milk is there, so you can put it away?
He throws things at you?

This doesn't sound good Summer.

As in a glass bottle?

Not that it really matters as surely throwing anything at someone is abuse?

Really?

What on earth made him think that was an ok thing to do OP? Hmm

Davsmum · 17/04/2013 15:28

He sounds like an idiot.

Oh...and the fact he doesn't really give a fuck that it hurt (I mean, he knew it was glass I presume and that it would hurt) makes him sound like a raging arsehole

Good grief, that's awful! Is this kind of thing in character for him?

I had a bf at university who threw a portable tv at me once. It landed on my hip and it was bloody painful. Unfortunately I couldn't see how abusive his behaviour was, but my friend could. She called campus security, but he said it was an accident (and I supported his story).

I would advise you to think very carefully about whether you want to continue with the relationship, especially if he's done this kind of thing before.

It doesn't sound like he meant to hurt you, its a point of milk.

Obviously be pissed off that he did hurt you but he said sorry and he didn't mean it.

Probably just a bit of an accident, he said he didn't realise it would hurt that much.

it was a plastic pint of milk, he threw it slowly on my pelvis as a joke as he says. He didn't think apparently.

He never does that sort of things, he was just a big fat twat. And I'll show him this thread.

Sounds like the sort of thing DH and I might do (plastic pint of milk lobbed slowly onto tummy which is covered by thick duvet, rather than glass pint bottle hurled with force, obviously). I can't imagine it hurt or that he meant it to.

Tig - RTFT. He threw it. Accident my arse! Could have left it on the side or even just inside the door. He didn't. He intentionally threw it. The man is a twunt.

Summer - has he acted out like this before?

haha very different Grin

But still, shitty. Show him this thread, just for luck.

(though tbh I'd still think he was a bit of a wanker for that...no need for it & it is disrespectful IMO)

Sounds like you have someone who is annoyed at you getting to lie in bed while he is up and out to work.

Which of course makes him a massive wanker.

I've read the fucking thread CSI, why don't you read my fucking post properly.

It is quite obvious, that I am saying it was an accident that he hurt her. I haven't disputed that he threw it at her, I've said he probably didn't realise that it would hurt that much therefore the hurt caused was an accident.

It was a plastic pint, you would hardly think that would induce tears. He's apologised.

Reread your OP.

Tbf you could've worded it a little nicer but still, a bit of an over reaction on his part.

Report
helenthemadex · 17/04/2013 15:53

he is a big fat twat, what he did is not acceptable, unless he is a complete dick he will know that it is very likely to hurt
