Mum proudly handed out the fake "crocs" today for the grandchildren to wear in the summer.
The only problem is that they have the word DOGGERS emblazoned over the front Grin
Mum didn't know why me and my sisters were laughing hysterically.
Ill have to explain wont I?

No, they really can't. Could you get charms or stickers or something to disguise or cover the words?

Is there some way you could cover the 'O' and make it an 'I' ?

If it was me, I think this will be a barefoot summer Grin

Unless they are much older teens they won't care. I can't imagine even my pretty clued up DD(15) would know about dogging.

I wouldn't connect dogger on DCs shoes with it either.

Could you buy them the book Dogger by Shirley Hughes and say that they are special Dogger shoes :)

Ha ha I can't believe you found them online.
Not even very nice are they?
No they don't know what it means but I do!
Dd1 isn't keen on hers I suspect and my toddler currently lives in wellies and a tu tu so she will be ok.
I did think you'd like them though.

I had to look up doggers.

I had no idea such a term existed.

Of course I knew people did that ...just not that it had a name!

I'm honestly not that naive either!
