Yes, I wouldn't be at all surprised. I'm fed up that the news will be full of this now. I like following the news, but will be avoiding for the rest of the week. The Govt are sneaky and crafty and will now doubt try to slip something through.

Yes, it's a great week to bury something unpalatable

Perhaps we could take guesses what it will be...

HoneyDragon Mon 08-Apr-13 23:08:03

Either that or Nelson Mandela will go by Friday sad, then they'll sneak loads through.

YouTheCat Mon 08-Apr-13 23:08:09

They've already managed to bury the changes to disability benefits. Handy that. hmm

RevoltingPeasant Mon 08-Apr-13 23:09:41

Ooooh I am glad I am not the only paranoid one alone! I was thinking this earlier.

I bet: Theresa May will be invited to spend more time with her family after her recent leadership bid OR Osborne will do something else nasty to people with disabilities.

Or Nick Clegg will be washed up on a beach somewhere.

Cat - do you think Gideon offed Maggie to bury his cuts news?

Actually, quite plausible....

ravenAK Mon 08-Apr-13 23:10:58

yup, there'll be something ghastly being buried.

Sorry. I mean, there'll be something else ghastly being buried.

I reckon she's been dead a few days...

AudrinaAdare Mon 08-Apr-13 23:12:26

I'm also wondering what the slippery cunts will try to get under the radar in the coming week.

I think that homophobic seventeen year old who is police commissioner has had a very lucky escape. Everyone's lost interest in her now.

AnyFucker Mon 08-Apr-13 23:15:01

we are talking about ghastly people that still have the power to cause us fresh hurt, aren't we ?

OddBoots Mon 08-Apr-13 23:15:25

Well the review of free milk in Early Years is due any time now...

Coz of course Labour would never have done anything so cynical!
9/11 anyone? "A good day to bury bad news?"

HazeltheMcWitch Mon 08-Apr-13 23:21:32

Wasn't it Georg Solti died same day as mother Teresa - and another conductor died between them and Diana?

And Farrah Fawcett died on same day as Michael Jackson.

HazeltheMcWitch Mon 08-Apr-13 23:22:16

Will anyone send that email about 'a good day to bury bad news' ?
Or is there some code for it nowadays?
