alcohol and painkillers - any medics around for quick advice please

Am taking Volterol. Does anyone know if I can have a glass of wine please?

Assuming that you've got no other conditions that would contraindicate drinking alcohol.

Voltarol (diclofenac) is an NSAID, so use carries a risk of stomach ulcers, just as it would with ibruprofen etc. If you have gastric problems already, then be extra careful.

No, none. Just a very painful back. Disc related.

Thanks for advice. I also have the tummy calming tablets which my GP said were always a good idea although I don't have a bad tummy.
