Honestly, I think of myself as not long out of being a student, still deciding/defining 'who I am' and still young (?!)...But I realized recently it is TWENTY YEARS since I started my undergraduate course at uni. I haven't frittered away the last 20 years entirely. I did 2 post-graduate degrees, lived in another country, travelled quite abit, had two children, got into one career and then into a second career. But I don't feel very grown-up yet or as though I am sure what I am doing with my life, or even that I am approaching middle age.AIBU to think that time is flying?
yes time DOES fly, like an arrowAnd fruit flies like a banana[here all week folks]
Not like an arrow. More timey wimey.
Glad to see I am not the only one with a childish sense of humour anyway!
Your not wrong. When I hear about friends having babies I still think "wow your so young, practically a teen mum" .. I'm 29 and have a baby myself but it still feels wrong, like we're all not really grown up enough.
