What difficult questions would you like him to be asked?

SoupDreggon Thu 28-Mar-13 07:28:39

Something about quantum physics perhaps?

livinginwonderland Thu 28-Mar-13 07:30:13

why should he answer questions? the rules regarding the monarchy and his "right to reign" are hardly his fault.

Tee2072 Thu 28-Mar-13 07:31:27

What? So you think he should be asked 'why do you get to reign'?

His answer: Because my father is Prince Charles and my mother was Diana, Princess of Wales.

What answer do you think he would give?

FreudiansSlipper Thu 28-Mar-13 07:31:30

many people feel that it is time we became a republic and that the royal family should should step down what do you think William?

there is a question he will not be asked

Have you seriously got nothing else to get all angsty about this morning?

What is it with all the leftists that think they have to drop their political views in to AIBU? There's a politics thread for precisely this sort of thing. You can take all the astroturfers writing 'AIBU to think Tories smell of poo' or whatever it is this week with you.

Oh God - so this! Really. grin

SizzleSazz Thu 28-Mar-13 07:33:16

I think there is a 99.9% possibility he will be asked the question in the next 50+ years of his life

Tee2072 Thu 28-Mar-13 07:34:00

And he would answer:

Yes, we should.
I think they have every right to do what they think is right.
I am suitable because I have trained for it from birth.

What answers do you think he'd give? Do you really think they are so stupid as to not know that this are issues/questions?

HokeyCokeyPigInAPokey Thu 28-Mar-13 07:34:03

Well this made me smile on a dull journey to work, thank you, as you were.

Because he's The Queens oldest childs oldest child..what else can he say?

OhDearieDearieMe Thu 28-Mar-13 07:40:41

Have you considered having a nice cup of coffee and ten minutes listening to birdsong or something? Or are you always so bloody angry about everything? Not good for you you know. Not good at all. sad

saffronwblue Thu 28-Mar-13 07:41:04

Australia voted no to a republic at the last referendum 15 years ago. It is very low on the political agenda at the moment as our current government is sadly in a snarling heap of meltdown and self destruction...

Tee2072 Thu 28-Mar-13 07:41:55

But they aren't politicians and don't pretend to be. They don't have to answer to the public or the media in the same way as they weren't elected.

Seriously, do you not see that? Your analogy is flawed. Big time.

What "power" do they actually have? Are they helping to destroy the NHS or hurt the most vulnerable of our society? Or are they doing anything to stop this shit happening?

No. Because they have no power.

You really are an angry person. I find it very sad.

Lottashakingoinon Thu 28-Mar-13 07:47:13

Yes indeed Kim we could be playing answers that MNHQ should ban bingo this morning.

If it's any consolation (I hope it is) I think you sound calm, reasonable and I am right behind you (in so far as it is possible to be right behind someone who is mertely asking a question!) grin

And yes, they should let Eddie Mair loose on him. Wils would be savaged whilst all the time thinking he was being cuddled.

livinginwonderland Thu 28-Mar-13 07:48:23

oh come off it, they don't have any power. they're there as representatives, that's it.

Lottashakingoinon Thu 28-Mar-13 07:49:12

And I am saeriously wondering on what basis people here are thinking that Kim is angry. Or is this just a kneejerk response to anyone who dares not to prostrate themselves before the the Royal Family?
