to be all hot and bothered over Chris Hemsworth?
(114 Posts)Just that really.
Watched Thor last night (bit late to the party, I know) after watching Avengers Assesmble and wanting to get the backstory (still have Iron Man 1 & 2 and Captain America to watch yet) and am today unable to get the man out of my head!
Feel like a right old perv - anyone else think he's sex on a stick?
He's pretty - but he seems as thick as mince to me!
My dd rather likes him.
I've watched all the Avenger type films. Looking forward to Ironman 3 soon.
Hazel - I don't need him to talk! That wasn't what I had in mind for him...
Youthecat - I'm ridiculously excited about Iron Man 3 - I'm even seriously thinking of going off to see it by myself while the kids are at school as I know no one who'd go and see it with me. Not as excited as I am about Wolverine in the summer though...
Move over!! He's mine!
I'm watching The Avengers right now. just for him
Personal - I wasn't remotely bothered by him in Avengers, was more interested in Jeremy Renner and enjoying the zingy one-liners (I do love a good Joss Whedon script, me).
But since watching Thor - good Lord, those arms!
Just had to google image search as I had no idea who you were talking about. YANB at all U
Oh, you seen him in the beginning of Star Trek, playing Kirks Dad.

Meh. I don't get the appeal of Jeremy Renner. Chris Hemsworth?? Oh yes!
I do love the lines in Avengers. Puny God is my favourite!
I'm waiting for Star Trek and Wolverine.
I've only seen Star Trek once, when it came out. May have to re-visit that one. Funny story though. He has a younger brother, Liam, who's in The Hunger Games. I watched The Cabin in the Woods and actually though Chris was Liam, as he has short hair and no beard in that! I seriously didn't twig that it was the SAME person. I worry about myself sometimes...
YADNBU. Ohhhhh.
He has a brother who's also an actor. At least one.
YANBU
He gets me very hot under the collar - really quite inappropriately!
YANBU. I don't normally go for blondes, or beefcake, but he is very attractive.
My kids laughed really loudly at (and keep repeating) when Thor says to Loki, 'now you listen to me, brother', then gets zipped away by Iron Man (no other idea how to describe it), then, a comic beat by Loki before 'I'm listening'.
MrsBert - I'm usually the same about blondes, but I would make an exception for him in a big way! Swoons...
YANBU! Chris Hemsworth is HOT!
Doesn't this just make you swoon?
Just looked at the pic of him as Kirk's Dad. Amazing how he can look completely different with shorter hair and no beard - that's why I thought he was his own younger brother!!
Awwwwww, hot bloke being gooey over his baby! My ovaries just spasmd!
Yours did Worried, jeez, i flutter when i see big strong men and babies, just so damn cute.
YABU.
I also watched Thor last night. Just for Jeremy Renner. And Clark Gregg.
Avengers is one big lust fest. From Chris Evans to Tom Hiddleston. Don't go for the obvious.
Can take or leave Chris Evans - he's waaaaay too bland as Captain America for my liking, but that may be because Captain America is such a 'meh' character. Having said that, I haven't watched 'his' film yet so I may change my mind. I thought Chris Evans more or less stole the show in Scott Pilgrim vs The World though.
Agree about Avengers just being a 'lust fest' - only two years til the sequel (starts marking off days on calendar)!
I agree he's bland. But very pretty to look at. As I said on another thread where Jeremy was mentioned as a chat guest on MN...I don't want to talk to these men.*
*Is that wrong of me?
