Highlight of my morning some days.

I think he's lovely...

Those puppets can keep their felty hands off him!

ArtVandelay Sat 23-Mar-13 11:54:52

I wish my Volvo's engine ran on rhyme - it would save me a fortune.

KoalaFace Fri 22-Mar-13 21:49:55

grin at Flisspaps Rhyme Rocket reminds me of a homoerotic space cowboy play I saw while at university.

You'd have loved it.

LadyApricot Fri 22-Mar-13 21:38:35

Dr ranj for me every time.
Unfortunately Morag's song makes me want to sing 'scratch those balls yeah, it's your go' instead. It entertains me anyway.

MarianForrester Fri 22-Mar-13 21:36:15

Sid does appear to work out, doesn't he? smile

Flisspaps Fri 22-Mar-13 21:32:59

I knew someone on here would mention Sid in his swimsuit.

Not for me.

I'm all about Officer Ditty. I'd like to see his Rhyme Rocket.

KoalaFace Fri 22-Mar-13 21:28:45

Sid's quite popular with the mums isn't he? He reminds me of someone and I can't place it. Drives me bonkers.

louisianablue2000 Fri 22-Mar-13 21:11:58

Sid in his swimsuit has got me all hot and sweaty this week. Yum.

Not a word against Alex! We met him over Christmas (he did our local lights switch-on, dontcha know) and he hung around for ages afterwards, photos, signing things, talking to everyone. Lovely, lovely, lovely man.

Don't get the Dr Ranj thing though. Too perfect and shiny for my liking.

MotherOfNations Fri 22-Mar-13 16:18:25

Oops Marion. Just noticed your post,

KoalaFace Fri 22-Mar-13 16:05:35

TheOrchardKeeper I'm not on FB and so it won't allow me to view! I hope I'm not missing saucy Dr Ranj pics!

MotherOfNations Fri 22-Mar-13 16:04:30

Yes she's a real nurse and also played a nurse in Glasgow set soap River City.

ComposHat Fri 22-Mar-13 15:57:08

Koola She's lovely, drifts into a daydream.

BarredfromhavingStella Fri 22-Mar-13 15:54:11

YABU, yuk & his bloody programme used to be responsible for DD's daily ailments :-( I have now barred it-stupid idea for kids TV

TheOrchardKeeper Fri 22-Mar-13 15:45:43

The Dr will tell you what is good for you wink

MarianForrester Fri 22-Mar-13 15:34:08

Yes, real nurse, and erstwhile actress in Scottish soap? I think.

Dcs made me google one day to see if they were real, and then if the bloody puppet thing was

KoalaFace Fri 22-Mar-13 15:34:05

ComposHat Cerrie's lovely isn't she? My little boy loves her. He's got a thing for blondes!

ArtVandelay Yeah nice for broken arm or sore eye. No way for anything 'intimate'!

ArtVandelay Fri 22-Mar-13 15:27:46

Is nurse Morag a real nurse, like Dr Ranj is a real Dr?

I like Dr Ranj - I'd love him to sort me out if I had a broken arm or a sore throat but definatly nothing 'down there'. He is way too enthusiastic to be dealing with stuff like that.

YANBU smile

ComposHat Fri 22-Mar-13 15:25:02

Not half as much as when I go round to spend time with my mate and his son and Cerrie is on CBeebies. All three of us gaze lovingly at the screen.

MarianForrester Fri 22-Mar-13 15:22:03

Oops, Nurse Morag

BartletForTeamGB Fri 22-Mar-13 15:08:29

Nurse Morag seems quite nice but her song is awful.

MarianForrester Fri 22-Mar-13 15:02:20

Oh, nooo! You are being sooooo unreasonable. Aaaaargh, he and nurse Moran drive me demented, and he really looks like he loves himself.

LazyMonkeyButler Fri 22-Mar-13 15:00:35

He is rather easy on the eye isn't he? Far too short for me though, sadly sad.

I also wonder where the puppets' parents are - how irresponsible are they to let their poor, sickly, often infectious offspring visit the Dr alone shock. Maybe they are worried that Dr Ranj will sing at them again sad.

Can't stand Nurse Morag and the "Healthy Helpers" though - the song sets my teeth on edge.

pigletmania Fri 22-Mar-13 15:00:04

YANBU at all he is rather tasty, and yes those felty little people can keep their felty hands off him

KoalaFace Fri 22-Mar-13 14:52:42

They are very addled puppets aren't they? Although my toddler likes recognising them so maybe that's why there are only a few...

Anyway that is irrelevant in my affections for the good doctor.

In fact I think children's TV should make a bigger effort in bringing "presenters for the mums". MeSoFunny - Sid and velvet trousers! grin

rufusnine Fri 22-Mar-13 14:13:19

Just can't cope with Dr Ranj's eyebrows !! Another thing - surely they could just get more puppets instead of making the ones they use have so.o.o many ailments and injuries!
