Now whilest i think everyone has a right to apply to what shows they like i really think that some extra layer of safeguard should be had to apper of this show just watching now

The people on apper to have very low eye qs ( this is not a dig btw) i really dont think they can have any idea of how they are representing themselves on TV i would aimagin this would effect getting a job ect or are these people actors like TOWIEconfused

I belive that the philpots were on JK its the same
With BGT and things like that people are being taken advantage of on this show

Iaintdunnuffink Tue 19-Mar-13 15:32:36

Love the autocorrect, low eye qs grin

Domjolly Tue 19-Mar-13 15:33:12

I not the sharpest tool by any means but who is looking out for these peoples welfare.
And giving them some independent advice before going on the show makeing sure they understand the ramifications of going on a show like this to tell the world your not sure out of 8 men who the dad is shock

Domjolly Tue 19-Mar-13 15:33:45

Sorry IQ hehe blush

PrincessRagnhild Tue 19-Mar-13 15:34:29

Stop watching it then. If they have no audience they will cancel the show and the world will be a slightly better place.

squeakytoy Tue 19-Mar-13 15:36:18

There wouldnt be much of a show if the guests had to pass any sort of IQ test before they appeared.

Dawndonna Tue 19-Mar-13 15:37:45

It's okay, Dom, they're probably all on benefits, which means you can dismiss them, along with child poverty, etc. hmm

Domjolly Tue 19-Mar-13 15:38:26

squeakytoy i always hoped most might be actors like TOWIE until i read the guy to set fire to his 6 kids was on there

Pandemoniaa Tue 19-Mar-13 15:38:47

very low eye qs

Almost as good as "penis gloves".

KatieScarlett2833 Tue 19-Mar-13 15:39:23

Jeremery kyle?

Best spellcheck fail today gringringrin

Poppet48 Tue 19-Mar-13 15:39:23

I think that the Jeremy Kyle show is set up sometimes just to make it that little more 'interesting' just like the Jerry Springer show.

I stopped watching it as soon as I saw 'I slept with 15 men, DNA test my partner' I mean... really?

Domjolly Tue 19-Mar-13 15:40:04

Dawndonna are actaully i didnt mention anything of the sort so no need to be rude i dont belive my post was rude or attacked you in any way so no need

You if you just jumped on the thread to be horrible then dont i not looking for a bun fight though i can see you are

Pigsmummy Tue 19-Mar-13 15:40:10

AIBU to expect you to be able to spell his name correctly if you are going to start an AIBU about him?

Domjolly Tue 19-Mar-13 15:41:26

Poppet48 do they pay people i do remember years back the venssa felz show got done for setting things up

mrscumberbatch Tue 19-Mar-13 15:41:48

Did we ever find out what penis gloves were??

Domjolly Tue 19-Mar-13 15:42:07

Pigsmummy yes you would wouldnt you hmm

Pandemoniaa Tue 19-Mar-13 15:42:15

I'm starving. I wish someone would throw a bun in my direction.

But I digress. In all honesty, everyone knows what the JK Show is like. IQ has nothing to do with it. So I have no sympathy for the attention-seeking collection of dysfunctional individuals who queue up to wash their dirty linen on television.

hiddenhome Tue 19-Mar-13 15:42:28

It exploits its guests and positively revels in encouraging the audience to judge these unfortunates. I am guilty of watching it, but try hard not to now because I know its wrong sad

Domjolly Tue 19-Mar-13 15:44:26

You dont think the people think the actually may get some help he talks alot of the after care support.

I think iys only after they watched if after they think what have i done

Poppet48 Tue 19-Mar-13 15:45:44

I am just guessing but considering how Jeremy Kyle treats the guests sometimes and some of the more ridiculous story lines then going by that yes I do think that they get paid to appear on the show.

Domjolly Tue 19-Mar-13 15:47:29

I will say i think some people just make things up so they get there 5 minutes some of these cant be real there is no way some one would come on tv and say the things they say

maddening Tue 19-Mar-13 15:50:05

I don't think anyone remotely sane would go on that sort of show.

Haven't seen more than a couple of mins of jk (the time it takes to find the remote) but as a teen we used to watch riki lake etc in the school holidays and they are awful shows.

Pandemoniaa Tue 19-Mar-13 15:50:21

You'd be amazed at what people will say in public. I work in the media and have regularly been astonished at the intimate detail that people are prepared to share with the press.

Wowserz129 Tue 19-Mar-13 15:51:52

I understand why people go on the show for certain reasons but not so much others. Things like DNA tests can be done through courts/privately.

However drug addicts get private rehab etc I understand that completely.

Domjolly Tue 19-Mar-13 15:54:17

I just feel sad for there kids i think thats the worst for me that they avtaully take the kids along and show them on on the background while the parents are dukeing it out
