level of customer services by a mail order company? They sent me an item of furniture back in December. The box was damaged and the contents were also snapped and split. I have emailed and phoned their customer services and have had at least half a dozen missed collections. I have specified that the item was a large heavy one so would not fit in a car. The two times they have sent a courier the lady could not lift it never mind fit it in the car (DH did offer to carry it out for her).
So After writing to their head office I thought that it would all be sorted. I had an email last week to say that it would definately be collected. The same courier lady arrived and told me that the company was a joke. I messaged them again to be told (again) that they would pass it on to the right department. That was last Wednesday!!
I have tried to ring their head office today and been told that I need to to phone the customer service number on my statement.
Yes I am a SAHM, but to expect me to wait in on no fewer that 6 full days is taking the piss.

YANBU. MIL had a similar problem, they kept arranging pick up for when she was at work, she was able to get her daughter to sit in and when she did, they didn't turn up!

As far as I know, 6 months later she still has a broken table and chairs knocking about somewhere, but why should she take a day off work so they can collect a faulty item? They said they would take her to court (!) although as she must have paid for it I'm not sure why.

Also, why not name and shame here? Companies often google themselves you know.
