to complain?

DD attends gymnastics at the local leisure centre. I've become increasingly a little frustrated that she doesn't seem to be doing much or moving on. Please note I'm not a competitive parent but in paying for it I do want a bit of value for money.

Come last weeks class she's in a group where they are checking things off, at the end of the class the woman in charge comes to tell me that she's passed her 8 certificate. I pointed out that she passed this about 6 months ago and her response was 'oh well we'll move her up a group next lesson'. I'm cross because I feel I've been throwing money for her to just repeat the same old stuff while she could have been in another group.

Shall I complain? Shall I ask for a discount on the next round of lessons? I feel like I'm quite cross, it has as my mum would say 'got my goat', so wondering if I'd be unreasonable to do so.

I would complain and ask for a refund or discount on the lessons she has repeated.

They sound like they have been very slack in their organisation if they have allowed her to remain in a group she has already completed.

Thank you for reading about my rather dull problem and bothering to respond! I suppose I'm partly cross because I spend a fortune there with all the kids activities and want a reasonable service.

I would complain and also ask for a discount for repeating lessons. Their record keeping should be better than that.
