I think it's the number 1 'reason' for mobile insurance claims isn't it?

I've done it more than once Blush terrible habit of putting it in back pocket of trousers and then when you go to loo and pull trousers down out it falls.

It is careless and I nearly died when I did it with my I phone. (Praise The Lord that rice and airing cupboard fixed it!)

I have done it, I always keep my phone in the back pocket if my jeans and when pulling them down to go to the logo it fell out into the toilet.

I dried the phone out and it was fine tho and now I have an expensive phone I am super careful!

I've done it three times. Not the same phone! Twice it was in my pocket, and as I pulled trousers up it popped ou and down toilet. Other time I was rushing to assembly (teacher) and has it in a pile of register etc as I went into cubicle, I stumbled forward and it slipped off into bowl.

Great Mrs Jay. If you have a landline and have lost your mobile in the house; you can ring it on the landline. And then have fun chasing the ringing

I guess if it's in the back pocket of your trousers it's probably quite easy to inadvertently drop it down the loo...I haven't done it personally but it's probably inevitable!

I've never dropped it down the toilet but I have dropped it in toilet cubicles at work loads of times. It's those cardigans and trousers with shallow pockets that are the reason for this. They should proper pockets on clothes.

I had 6 phones in a year once, I dropped one on a road while crossing it and it got run over, dropped 2 in the bath, one into a cup of coffee and left one in my pocket and then put it through the washing machine. I tend to go through about 1 a year now because I'm pretty clumsy.

I drop my phone constantly but have never dropped it down the toilet. the reason I have insurance on my phone is because I break them so frequently totally by accident!

I dropped mine in the toilet at work. I had it in my tunic pocket. Went to the loo, lifted up the tunic to pull my trousers up and the phone fell in the loo. I haven't dropped it anywhere else though. Hmm

Once down the toilet. Several times on concrete in carparks. Once on gravel (which cracked the screen).

Once, as I was crossing a busy road to work, and a lorry ran over it.

I've dropped it in the loo twice.

Once it fell out of a pocket, I made a grab for it and ended up knocking it in the loo

The second time I'd taken it out of my pocket to avoid a repeat of the above and put it on the cistern. It promptly slid off straight into the loo

I've never dropped it anywhere else though

That's why women drown more phones than men. I reckon if you factor in the extra pants-down toilet action we have compared to men, we are definitely still more careful than them [competitive]

It is careless, but we are human and you can't be on-guard all the time.

I've dropped my phone in the loo a couple of times - both times because it slid out of my back pocket. I've also dropped it in a bath, a bucket of water, and out of the back door of a bus.

Twas an old sony ericsson thing; I loved that phone, it survived all the above and appeared to be virtually bomb proof.
