Well, sensei on Fruit Ninja says 'apple seeds are toxic to humans', but you'd need to eat an awful lot of them to come to any harm Grin.

DH eats whole apples all the time. He is not dead. And no tree has sprouted from him. Yet...

YANBU I always eat the entire apple core and all and always have done and I think I'm ok Grin

I read something that sad that the real benefits in an apple are in the core, peel etc so everyone should eat the lot.

We always eat whole apples and are still here. Mind you my cousin we t to a psychic surgeon with stomach pains and was shown peanut shoots that he apparently had growing in his stomach and the psychic charlatan removed!

Ds2 often eats his whole apple and then everyone else's leftover cores and he's still fit and healthy, so I doubt it'll do her any harm.

Psychic surgeon Grin Brilliant!

Boggler, I went to school with a boy who regularly had a whole onion as his snack. He just bit into it as I do in an apple. He also used to come to school barefoot, once famously in the depth of winter with tons of snow on the ground. He is now a v successful musician Grin.

My 2yr old did this today. I usually slice it but today i didnt. I think i was expecting her to eat around the core and give it back.

Ah grand! Quite often I give her an apple and it takes her most of the morning to eat it; apple in one hand, toy in the other - just realised I never see a core left over.

Shock @ whole onion!

I suppose they don't know not to eat the core.

My dd1 once ate a banana skin. I love orange peel and also always eat pear cores. I'd not worry too much.
