I love BBT. I don't love Penny and Leonard.

YABU. Leonard is so likeable in a puppy kind of way, and he so desperately wants it to end happily ever after with Penny. Heck, I want it to end happily ever after!

She doesn't seem that into him really. I prefer watching her scenes with Sheldon.

I think that he loves her a lot more than she loves him. I can't see it ending happily.

Im just not feeling it. I love them.both, but he has had happiness with other women too.

I agree about Penny and Sheldon - tv magic.

Oh no, I really like them and want them to be together.

If Leonard and Penny end up together, won't BBT be over? The 'will they won't they' drives the plot to some extent (although it's kept going when they've been together, their relationship has never been permament...)

Nooooo! She's horrible, she treats him dreadfully. He deserves much better.

Report
cinnamonnut · 01/01/2013 20:32

I don't think she treats him very well Sad

I don't think she treats him great but I also think he can be quite dismissive and patronising to her. I like Penny much more than Leonard as a character, and prefer her scenes with Sheldon, and also Amy.

No, I agree, I don't think Penny treats Leonard very well at all. I like Sheldon's new assistant, and from the trailer for Thursday's episode it appears she likes Leonard quite a bit too Smile

Raj has quite the bromance going on with Stuart Maryz

Penny and Sheldon are tv gold. It would be bad to have them romantically involved but their scenes together are brilliant. I could watch them all the time.

No, no, no! When will-they-won't-they couples finally get together it spells the end of the program! Think Moonlighting, Cheers, I don't want TBBT to go that way!

I don't think they will unless Penny becomes an academic - they don't have enough in common.

Report
millie30 · 01/01/2013 20:43

I don't think TBBT is reliant on the Leonard and Penny plot though in the same way that other sitcoms have been. It has a great ensemble cast and more equal storylines these days. The Leonard and Penny stuff is actually what I find least interesting in the show at the moment.

I have it on good authority that they will not end up together Grin.

I agree OP! Leonard deserves someone who will treat him better.
