IWBU to leave DH over a Pret a Manger Sandwich, wouldn't I?

DH was on child feeding duty today, now I am not PFB about the DCs having shop bought sandwiches and so on, what annoyed me was that we have a fridge (and several cupboards) full of food, and yet he still took them out. I would have minded less if they had had something particularly interesting that would have been difficult for DH to make, or hot at least, but no, it was an effing cheese and pickle baguette! I just can't believe he would be so wasteful of our money so close to Christmas.

Presumably he didn't just pile the kids into the car to drive to Pret and buy a sandwich. What else was he doing with the kids which meant they were out at lunchtime?

No, he didn't use the car, but they weren't out either they walked back home to eat them, just brought them on the way home.

I live somewhere with no Pret. I would kill kittens to get my hands on a Pret sandwich. I will marry your DH if you don't want him. He obviously values Pret and might buy me some. LTB.

Honestly, what is done is done. It's lazy if he went out solely to get the sandwich but at least it's a good quality one and if he had been shopping and feeling peckish then he picked a healthy choice (my kids would have wanted a McDonalds)

I shop carefully to save money - so it can be spent on things like the convenience of buying a sandwich when coming home (not that I ever would from pret)

I actually seriously considered a franchise, then found out that they didn't do that. . They did have breadless sandwiches last time I was in but they may not be GF of course. If I open one, I shall make you something GF on the first day, before the bread has tainted everything.

I know what you mean - I make a point of not buying sandwiches I could make at home and CHEESE AND PICKLE is at the top of that list!
They do make the scrummiest of sandwiches though :)

I get a tad cross too. I shop really carefully on food to save money and do wonder why i bother sometimes

Dh took kids out on Sunday - fed dd 2.5 a chocolate muffin for lunch ffs!!! A sandwich would have been much better... Especially pret yum!!
