I have obvioulsy been missing something as I have just discovered "Texts from My Dog".

Easily the funniest book ever! Had to stop reading it in Tesco for fear of continence problems and left with tears streaming down my face from laughing so much.

Much funnier if you actually have a dog.

Any one have more similar reccommendations of histerical books for xmas?

You must have already seen the book of bunny suicides?

Rereading Gideon Defoe's Pirates books to the DCs at bedtime (doing a little bit of ad hoc expurgating as we go) and we are all laughing a lot.

Niggle The book of Bunny Suicides brought me back from the edge after I had a late miscarriage due to PROM.
I'm not sure I thought it was funny, but it helped me see the absurd. It's still in my bookcase, just in case.

Not a cartoon book but 'Delete This At Your Peril' the e-mails of Bob Servant is definitely a snorter....

Not a book, but there is a list somewhere called skippys list, about a bloke who was in the military and 213 things he was told he was not allowed to do by his superiors after the fact. There are fan versions of out based on things like harry potter, star wars, etc. the original harry potter one is just as funny of the original. Even though I know nothing about the military the original is still mostly understandable and funny.

The Overlord List is similar.

I love bunny suicides/lies to tell small children and texts from dog. Texts started as a website and has a facebook, I'm signed up to their website feed :D

Having kept rescued rabbits for many years , I never got a copy of 'bunnie suicides' just in case they sneeked a peek when I wasnt looking and some daft ideas.

Texts from Dog also has a website which my DS loves and checks EVERY day. I've cruelly told, him the the Texts from Dog book is unobtainable in the UK so I can surprise him with it in his Bday next week.
We also love bunny suicides and 100 uses for a dead cat. There is a website called The Oatmeal which has funny cartoons too. I have bought DS their book called 'how to know if your cat is trying to kill you' which looks hilarious

I love texts from dog! He's made a YouTube cartoon too, but it loses something.
