Em, I'm quite new to Mumsnet, but I've seen this mentioned a few times. Is it what I think it is? Does this mean that if I have a question or say, illness, in which poo is involved, I should keep it to myself? Is it funny or disgusting?

Oh, and the title should read "MORE experienced".

It's usually quite disgusting! Very graphic and long involved stories of poo problems - and if I remember rightly it's usually a while before it gets rumbled. I don't think it's been around for quite a while though - but God help anyone with troubles in that department - they'd best be ready for some close questioning Grin

I've been wondering ever since I started lurking here never mind joined who the poo troll is! Often mentioned but doesn't seem to have made an appearance during my short time here!

The poo troll was... er... flushed out, by MNHQ.

Was it really a troll? It was the person who way saying they, erm had to "manually evacute" with the aid of Sudocrem because they were very "compacted".

I took that one to be genuine. Were there any others?

The poster who said she had shat herself in the train station toilets and persuaded a lovely natured poster to send her sister with clean clothes was a poo troll.

I can't trust anyone with poo related posts after loosing an afternoon on my first poo troll thread Sad

I'm pretty sure that was the poo troll Santascoming, that thread was deleted really quickly and iirc someone from mnhq posted saying it was a troll.

There was another one fairly recently from someone claiming to have shit themselves in the toilets at Victoria station. A very kind family member of a mnetter took a change of clothes there and there was no one there.

The poo troll got rumbled when they posted about shifting themselves in Victoria station.

Does anyone remember the tights troll?

The poo troll is a twat! They have made poo related issues difficult to talk about here, which really doesnt help those people who suffer from these issues and need advice.
I'm all for a bit of fun trollery, but don't get your jollies at the expense of people in need.

I don't believe in the poo troll. Since having my second dc, I'm shocked that more women don't suffer from piles, constipation and anal fissures after child birth. Whenever I read a thread about someone suffering from bum related problems I take it seriously because I KNOW how much it hurts. Even if it is someone getting jollies at least I feel better about giving advice.

Alisvolatpropiis · 02/12/2012 20:46

I didn't know there were so many bum problem associated with having a child until I joined MN. I still don't know what an anal fissure is. I feel both stupid and too afraid to google Blush

So how do you think they got out of Victoria station covered in shit without a clean set of clothes provided by the kindly Mner?

The tights troll started weirdy threads in S&B about wearing tights.

And remember the hair drying the bum troll?

Alis, don't google it unless you think you have one. I had to, to diagnose myself. Think trying to shit jagged stones through a ripped arsehole. It was the worse period of my life. I can't believe people would make fun out of something like this.

There was a serious reason behind my original post. Having had DC1 four months ago, I have a whole collection of what Alis calls "bum problems associated with having a child." I'm not going into detail here though, for fear of exciting the poo troll or being accused of BEING the poo troll! The poo troll would love me! I'll just go to my GP who is a nice woman, is a mum herself and has probably seen it all before...

You can always spot the poo troll, it tends to focus on stuck poo, constipation, and the ways of getting it out,

I have noticed it making more investment in 'the constipation' back story, and up dates on progress.

Oh yeah I remember the hair drying bum troll, that was a strange one!
