I've had a raging cold for days. I've had a run if very bad nights and haven't slept more than 3 or 4 hours together for almost a year, yet I'm lying here, exhausted, but wide awake whilst my baby sleeps.

It may sound U, but he's woken 6 tunes since I put him down at 6.30 and it took me over an hour to settle him, plus I keep hearing shuffling and snuffling noises and I can't relax AT ALL.

WHY AM I STILL AWAKE?!

I sleep badly when I have a cold. I think it's the blocked nose thing,I must on some level worry I won't breathe through my mouth when I'm asleep or something.

Are you worried baby has picked up the cold too?

You haven't taken daynurse instead of nightnurse by mistake for your cold? I did that once.

41 weeks? Poor you. I only just made it to 40 and that was bad enough
