DH convinced it is a boy's name but I have never known a boy named this, only girls. AIBU to name my daughter Logan?

Wolverine is known as Logan, and they don't come more male than him.

I've only known it as a boys name, but apparently it is unisex, and it means hollow. Confused

I've only known it as a boy's name. Grin at honeytea! I think it sounds really masculine too. So yes, YABU.

Only ever heard it as a boys name. I've been teaching for many years and never met a girl called Logan!

I've only heard it as a boy's name.

But anyway, your DH doesn't like it so yes you would be unreasonable to name your (plural) daughter Logan.

Boys name - Logan from Logan's Run was my first thought.

I'm with your DH.

The film Logan's Run springs to mind - and he was most definitely a man.

I was born in the 70's, so maybe it has become more unisex since then?

My nephew is Logan - he is 11 & there are quite a few boys in the school with the same name as him.

I'm not sure it matters though - lots of names are unisex such as Frances & Leslie.

Logan's Run, he was male. I've always thought of it as a male name. Never come across it in real life though.
