AIBU?

to expect someone who is actively selling on ebay to possess or have access to a digital camera?

I sold a jumper. the buyer says its stained. I don't think it is. I responded saying was happy to refund if they would kindly send me a close up photo of the stain.

They responded saying they don't have a digital camera so they can't. This is odd since they are auctioning 42 items on ebay at the moment and some only went on yesterday. AIBU to think they might be a bit confused (to put it nicely) abot whether they have a camera or not??

Someone else could have taken the photos for them and not currently be available. But yes - it's not entirely usual.

This happened to me - a lovely little baby dress that definitely was NOT stained! I sent the buyer an excessively polite and worried note apologising profusely, saying that I was mystified as to how this could have happened, offering several theoriesand offering a full refund if they sent the dress back. They never did.
