I have told ds that I am working Christmas Day, any how plans have changed and my lovely boss has giving me my AL request :)

I think it will be a huge surprise that I will be there for Christmas, but my husband thinks I am being mean by not telling him.

So over to the MN jury should I tell him or not :)

I can see why you think it'd be a nice surprise but on balance I think I'd tell him. Otherwise he'll have another 6 weeks or so of thinking his mum's not going to be there.
