Can anyone recommend where to buy decent slippers for 3-4 YO's?

Most High St shops have ridiculous efforts that are no good for running round the house in playing Batman. And while I'm having a moan- decent, keep the shape vest and undies sets that don't cost more than mine! ;)

Clarks doodles slippers. 14 quid a pair though.... My DD aged 2 has a D width foot and anything else just falls off. On the plus side they have a proper sole and a Velcro fastening and are properly shaped round her ankle. Just bloody expensive for slippers....

ouch! £14. Though in the grand scheme of things, if they last and they don't make him fall over... will take a look online. thanks

Dd had a pair from Primark, they're like boots with a flexi/hard base with decent support around the ankle, and they only cost £3!

I get mine moccassin slipper socks. Nowali I think is the name of one brand. They are very Scandinavian and extremely warm and hard wearing.

Moccasin slipper socks here too. Cheap ones from H&M or Sainsbury's, usually. Nice and warm, and they stay on.

I have knitted sock ones with a leather base from h&m

thanks. I did try slipper socks but they end up being flipper socks as they just keep sliding down - he looks like a seal. Does my son have abnormal feet I am beginning to wonder!

Bare feet?

Another vote for Clarks Doodle slippers! Try eBay - they don't really wear out, so should still be reasonable condition.

DD has some awful little Velcro Velvety Peppa pig booties from Asda with a hard sole. They were £5 I think. They are still as garish as the day they were purchased (by Granny). DD adores them and they are perfect for playing in when the house is too cold for bare feet.

Another one here for mocci socks. Although my mum bought her beautiful furry leopard ugg-like slippers that are brilliant.

Ds has Thomas tank engine slippers from sainsburies £6 I think full price (often tu have 25% off). They have Velcro strap and hard sole. Recommended. I don't like character clothing but red & blue matches lots of his stuff and he likes them.

Dd wears crocs inside. Not slippers technically, but light, warm, easy on and off, sturdy. Perfect really and can wear with socks too if they like.

Slippers.

What are you all made of? Fairy dust!? let them get a bit tough. Bare feet all the way!

Crocs slippers, but then I am obsessed about decent slippers.

I go for the Moccis too - a little pricey but sometimes on special offer, and they stay on and non-slip and last ages as they span two sizes. Total convert after various fluffy numbers.

DD has similar sounding slippers as mavis DD, only they are Ben and holly ones, they don't look pretty but they have a hard sole and keep their shape! DD loves hers! They are from mothercare and were about £5 I think!

For slipper socks that don't fall off (love flipper socks ) my DCs(2 and 6) have these. You can't see it so well in the pictures but they have a decent amount of ribbing around the ankle that keeps them in place.

I bought mine from our local shoe shop. They might also be on amazon etc...

Ds has a pair of start rite slippers I got in the sale, they're fantastic, or the little slipper socks with like leather soles, boots and H&M do them.

I second primark, we usually get DD slippers from there and they stay on well and have a good sturdy rubber sole.
