Yes, it's October. You know. The month before November.

It isn't even Hallowe'en yet.

It is still autumn.

Keep your fecking Christmas threads in the Christmas topic.

You are a crowd of wankers. You just don't care

It's all wrong, I tell ya, wrong.

There's a Xmas tree in our local tesco and Xmas light son a house in the next street. Stick that in your grinchy pipe and smoke it Grin they did both raise even my Xmas loving eyebrows but hey ho, only 56 more sleeps!

I'm supportive of those who want or need to plan well in advance, but like OP says, there is a Christmas topic.

Keep the unseasonal behaviour in there and we'll all be happy!

The rest of 'em, well, they really haven't a clue [hgrin]

I am counting the days until bonfire night is over, so that I can listen to carols

which I will do furtively when everyone else is out, until 1st December

then it's wall-to-wall kitsch, glitz and bad-taste sentimentality chez Greensleeves until at least mid-January!

MaryZcary · 30/10/2012 22:51

You see I have no problem with Christmas, glitz, glamour, tinsel and brussel sprouts.

In December.

Not November, and certainly not October.

I am with you too, MaryZ

I love Christmas - from 4 Sundays before Christmas Day which is the first Advent Sunday Grin. I am not religious, but I love having a nice, real Advent Wreath (my friend makes them) and every Sunday another candle gets lit. That's when Cristmas starts, not a second earlier.

LivingDead, leave the bastard Grin!

Shall we talk about Easter? It's never too early to discuss little baby Jesus.

Beyond, is he the kind of person who then wants to take it down the day after Christmas?

I find all the enthusiastic "let's put it up in August" people always want to "tidy it away" before January 6th, which is just wrong Hmm.

I agree with Pacific - leave him. And sorry Kelly, you may have to leave your job.
