To tell DH to stop

explaining pension schemes and annuities in tedious detail to DD(12) even though she appears to be interested and is asking intelligent questions because I KNOW that she is doing this to stop him noticing that it is bedtime.
And it is making my ears bleed.

I would leave them to it.

Can you not go and do something in a different room so you don't have to listen?

If she is that desperate to stay up I'd say she's earned a few more minutes! And it is the weekend grin

I think it's very clever of her to work out how she can get a few minutes extra before bed, without her father catching on. She will do well smile
