I really can't stay to have a with her tomorrow morning?

I know she will, because DS had to go and sit in year 2 for most of the afternoon today because of his behavour, this was passed on by the the after school club he goes to. I also had the FLO leave a mesage on my phone too today. I intend to phone her back tomorrow!

But the mornings are really hard to find time to talk to Teacher, after I drop DS off at school I have a ten min walk/run to work to get there at nine.

AIBU to tell her in a polite way that now isn't a good time. I don't want anyone thinking that I don't care when I do!

Just say that you know you need to speak to her but you have to go to work, and call her later, no big deal surely, she has to appreciate that you need to get to work on time

Explain to her that you want to be able to have a proper chat with her and not hurry and before school isn't a good time. She'll understand. Good luck!

No I think that's fine, explain you have to be at your own work in 10 minutes and make an appointment to see her after school.

Go in early and see if she's free before school starts if you know she will need to talk to you. The teachers at my dcs school are nearly always happy to give you ten minutes before school starts if they know you are coming.

I think if your child's teacher needs to talk to you then you have to make that quite a high priority, even if you just let her know she can call you at break time.
