You know just to make sure no one comes along who might get the wrong end of the stick and start a row like?

If I knew what you meant im sure it'd be YANBU

ObiWan · 17/10/2012 16:42

YANBU.

MadgeHarvey · 17/10/2012 16:42

What does it mean and what is it in reference to?

Please No Wanking On The Table? Confused

YANBU. Grin

Actually, Please No Wanking On The Thread would be a good alternative meaning!

BobblyGusset's: "I just want a laugh; piss off miseries" as a thread hoverer thingy would be great.

We could change it to "fuck off miseries" if we fancied a change.

It means Po Not Welcome On The Thread. Tis instead of having to state that the thread is lighthearted. No one should ever ever have to explain themselves in such a demeaning way. If you don't geddit, don't post

I find this thread highly offensive Angry.

Pffffttt.......

Isn't that discriminating against teletubbies of a certain colour? Not that I think we'd understand a word if Po did decide to come onto Mumsnet

MrsKeithRichards · 17/10/2012 17:24

What did po ever do wrong?

I've just eaten Kung Po chicken - it was very offended when I couldn't finish it all.

Gruel?! We don't even get that - round here it's a shovelful of warm grit.

YANBU at all, this use of the word "po" seems very childish and rather faddish.

However, YWBU to expect people to
a) understand
b) do as you ask
because you don't own the thread.

at a guess I'm going to say PO stands for professionally offended/offendable??

Or something to that effect?

Report
LordFlasheart · 17/10/2012 17:47

We need a little ticking dial thing next to each thread. If its getting heated on the thread it turns red. Like the 'hide' symbol. This would ensure I dont get miss all the excitement.
