God is not a magic wish-granting fairy.

It's alright, it's alright, it's alright.....he moves in mysterious ways grin

DD asked her teacher something similar. She was told God gives her what she NEEDS not what she WANTS. Did your DS need fresh air?

God does have to balance out the conflicting prayers of a couple of billion people though. Must be tough

He doesn't play weatherman as that nickname would be too long wink

Has your ds just found God OP? Or is this a new thing?

He should have asked Thor. Thor delivers.

When I was little, my mum explained that God does always listen to prayers but that he knows best about what we really need. This is not always what we think we want.

God is sometimes a weatherman. Over the last few years, we have asked him for fine weather for community fun days in the park and he has always delivered a beautifully sunny day smile
