My neighbour is an arse. A very selfish arse. I posted about him and his beastmobile on here a few months back. Here is the backstory if you fancy it

The condensed version is, we live on a street with mainly terraced/Victorian houses many with no parking. This neighbour has three cars with just him and his wife living there. He has two massive 4X4 jobbies which he parks on the road (he has a front garden turned into a drive btw) He bought the most recent 4X4 to replace his other one, which he has just left parked outside someone else's house without shifting it for almost two months. The tyres are flat, the tax is out of date and it's full of rubbish.

It makes my piss boil tbh. I am thinking about reporting the car as abandoned. I don't think that he has any intention of moving it and he is taking up two spaces with his now defunct twatmobile. angry

AIBU if I report it as abandoned?

Too many actuallys in that thread title...

CunningPlan Thu 11-Oct-12 17:35:33

No YANBU. If its got no tax, it should be SORNed and actually taken off the road and onto private land.

If a car is on the road with an out of date road tax disc, it's illegal. Report it and it can be towed away.

freelancescientist Thu 11-Oct-12 17:35:53

Report it.

Aboutlastnight Thu 11-Oct-12 17:35:59

Nope. Report away. Wave it goodbye as it is towed.

scurryfunge Thu 11-Oct-12 17:36:00

I would report it actually.

fengirl1 Thu 11-Oct-12 17:36:16

It's illegal for it to be on the road (not used or otherwise) with no tax.

schobe Thu 11-Oct-12 17:36:54

Oh god easy decision. Report it.

Sounds like he's waiting for someone to do it so it gets taken away.

bulletwithspookybatwings Thu 11-Oct-12 17:38:42

Definitely actually report it smile

BupcakesAndHaunting Thu 11-Oct-12 17:39:09

Ha! So as a law-abiding citizen of Britain, I have an obligation to report it!

I'm gonna report yo ass bitch

<necksnakes off to the local council>

jumpingjackhash Thu 11-Oct-12 17:39:52

Go for it. No hesitation.

BupcakesAndHaunting Thu 11-Oct-12 17:39:54

I actually think I will actually do it actually

LRDtheFeministDragon Thu 11-Oct-12 17:41:21

Oh, hell yes.

This is one of those karmic opportunities that the universe intends you to take advantage of.

GhostShip Thu 11-Oct-12 17:41:58

Oh I remember you're original thread!

Do it!

HoobleDooble Thu 11-Oct-12 17:43:18

Do it, do it, do it plllllllllllease! Then report back as I'm currently enjoying the 'view' out of my front window of the side of a long wheel base white transit - after 3 days I'm beginning to feel like I've been snowed in!

BupcakesAndHaunting Thu 11-Oct-12 17:44:48

That is what Dh said, LRD.

I will have rewengay for all of those weeks when he blocked the light out of my front room with his cock substitute.

The online form is asking me "Does the car have signs of vandalism?" It doesn't. Shall I remedy that my sneaking out with a bottle of Tipp-Ex and daubing "cock extension" on the bonnet?

Marzipanface Thu 11-Oct-12 17:44:51

Report it.

BupcakesAndHaunting Thu 11-Oct-12 17:45:13

Your DH is a wise, wise man.

And now I have Blackadder in my head.

suburbandream Thu 11-Oct-12 17:46:07

If it's not taxed, it's your duty to report it (and tell us what happens grin)

RuleBritannia Thu 11-Oct-12 17:46:46

Don't just think about it - do it!

{and you don't know whose car it is}

BupcakesAndHaunting Thu 11-Oct-12 17:49:04

Done it!
