AIBU?

to not want to kiss my DC full on the lips?

I have noticed this mother at the school before, kissing her DS(8) full on the lips, half a dozen times, with wet sloppy kisses outside the classroom door. This morning she was directly in front of me and it was 'mmmmm......mmmmmm......mmmmm.......mmmmmmm....etc' in our faces. I kiss my DS wherever I can aim and catch him (head, cheek, anorak). Am I being weird? When I was at home, wet sloppy kisses on the lips were for people you were married to/in a partnership with. Or AIBU?

YABU. Why do you care how other people kiss their children?

Sorry to ask the obvious. But what's it got to do with you how other people show their children affection? Or do you think there is something sexually innapropriate in this parent's behaviour? If not, and its just not something that you'd want to do, then I'd suggest you get over it. None of your business. I kiss my boy whenever he happens to be near and they land wherever they land.

Yabu
I love licking my lips and planting extra slobbery kisses on my DCs lips and faces. just the embarrassment factor makes it all worth the while. They do it back too you know, and dc1 makes the mmm noises too, it's all part of the fun. Grin

So oral sex with DH previous night, then kissing kids full on lips the next morning. Sorry, I can't do both. It is just wrong.

Why on earth do you have a problem with kisses on childrens lips? Love a smacker on the lips - at school, at home or wherever we want to.

And this is your business why?

Each to their own but I love kissing my dc on their lips. I've even recently had kisses on the lips from my ds1 who at age 12 stopped kissing me on the lips a few years ago, mind I know not to expect them in front of his mates but it made my day. I love telling them a million times a dayI love them too.

What has it to do with you?

I wouldn't even notice how another parent kissed their own child.

Right I am off because your last post was seriously weird.

Don't be so hard on the OP. Some of us believe that lips are for partners only. We're not all slobbery snoggers with our kids.
